Megan Range is a Director at Mercury. She executes high-level account support for clients with interests in public policy, political and corporate affairs, and community health. Her area of expertise is in media outreach, political affairs and client messaging.
Prior to joining Mercury, Ms. Range was the Director of Operations for the California Political Party Victory Operation and the Political Coordinator for the Meg Whitman for Governor campaign, organizing major political events and strategic outreach to key stakeholders on a statewide level. At Randle Communications, she worked on the successful campaign to pass Proposition 9, The Crime Victims Bill of Rights Act in 2008. She also worked in partnership with the Chief Probation Officers of California, the Institute for the Advancement of Criminal Justice, and the California Building Industry Association.
During Ms. Range’s time working in the APCO Worldwide’s Sacramento office, she supported numerous projects, including a successful statewide initiative campaign where she helped build a coalition of more than 190 organizations. She has conducted outreach to local and state officials throughout the Western United States on behalf of a major global retailer.
Ms. Range studied journalism at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a concentration in public relations, and is a Marian Bergeson Excellence in Public Service Scholar.
