Cecilia Cabello is a Vice President of Mercury in the Los Angeles office who specializes in public affairs and government relations strategies.

Ms. Cabello came to Mercury from Los Angeles City Hall, where she was Senior Legislative Deputy to Council President Eric Garcetti. She was Garcetti’s lead staffer in carrying out his duties as presiding officer of the Council, in addition to serving as his office’s chief liaison to other Council members and their staffs. Ms. Cabello also managed a wide range of policy initiatives, including those related to public safety, budget and technology.

Ms. Cabello brings to her clients more than a decade of political and policy experience. She previously served as Chief Political Advisor to the Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles and as Special Projects Manager for then-Congresswoman Hilda L. Solis, who now serves as U.S. Secretary of Labor.

A native Angeleno, Ms. Cabello is a graduate of Columbia University.
